REFUND POLICY

STEM for Kids, LLC dba GIGIL STEM Kits does not issue refunds for STEM kit purchases. Orders may be canceled before they have shipped and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you have questions about your order, please contact us at hello@gigilstemkits.com.

RETURNS

Returns are subject to the discretion of GIGIL STEM Kits. Return requests must be submitted by email to hello@gigilstemkits.com. GIGIL STEM Kits reserves the right to approve or deny any return request.

If a return is approved:

A 15% restocking fee will apply.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Items must be returned in their original, unused condition.
GIGIL STEM Kits is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected.

Please do not mail returns without prior authorization. Returns shipped back without authorization will not be honored.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $6.99 for one STEM kit. STEM kit bundles are charge a flat shipping rate of $8.99 per order. Orders typically ship within 5–10 business days after the order has been placed.

GIGIL STEM Kits ships via USPS and UPS. While every order is carefully packaged, shipping damage can occasionally occur. If your order arrives damaged, please submit a replacement request within three (3) days of delivery by emailing hello@gigilstemkits.com.

Please include:

Photos of the damaged items.
A photo of the outside shipping box if it was also damaged so we may submit a claim with the shipping carrier.

We currently ship only within the United States. Delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Our Promise to You

Every GIGIL STEM Kit is carefully assembled by hand after your order is placed—not by an automated production line. Because real people assemble every kit, an occasional packing mistake may happen despite our quality checks.

CHARTER SCHOOL PURCHASE ORDERS

GIGIL STEM Kits proudly partners with charter schools throughout the United States.

To comply with charter school purchasing policies:

All charter school orders must be submitted directly by the charter school through an approved Purchase Order (PO). We cannot accept charter school-funded orders directly from parents, guardians, or students.
Food items and other consumable materials required for certain STEM activities are not included with charter school purchases, as many charter schools prohibit these items from being purchased with educational funds. Families are responsible for supplying any required food or consumable materials listed in the activity instructions.
Purchase Orders are processed upon approval and are subject to our standard fulfillment timelines unless otherwise agreed upon.

PARENT & ADULT SUPERVISION

Many GIGIL STEM Kits contain activities that require the use of common household items, small parts, tools, heat, water, or other materials that may present potential hazards if used improperly.

By purchasing or using any GIGIL STEM Kits product—whether through our website, a third-party retailer, marketplace, educational partner, or charter school purchase order—the purchaser and supervising adult acknowledge and agree that:

An adult is responsible for determining whether each activity is appropriate for the participating child based on the child's age, maturity, and abilities.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while completing activities.
All activities should be performed according to the provided instructions and with appropriate safety precautions.
The supervising adult assumes full responsibility for monitoring participation and maintaining a safe environment during all activities.
GIGIL STEM Kits is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse of products, failure to follow instructions, lack of adult supervision, or the use of materials not supplied by GIGIL STEM Kits.

By placing an order through our website, a third-party retailer, or a charter school purchase order, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and accept responsibility for supervising all participating children.
