Meet Our Founder
Momma-Owned + Operated
GIGIL, LLC is owned and operated by Michelle Davis, MBA. Michelle and her husband Cory, are SoCal natives and together they share three children, ages 6, 3, and 1. Both manage two small businesses from home.

Michelle founded GIGIL in 2017. GIGIL began as an indoor playground offering enrichment classes and a coworking space for parents. When forced to close doors in 2020 due to the pandemic, GIGIL Subscription Boxes were born!
Michelle is a homeschooling mom to her son and believes that children have the best learning opportunities through hands-on experiences. Her son's love for all things science, technology, and building was a true inspiration for GIGIL STEM Subscription Boxes.
Through each STEM Subscription Box, Michelle hopes to inspire a young scientist and spark innovation, creativity, and an interest in STEM. Diversity, acceptance, and friendship are of the utmost importance to Michelle not only in life but also in "everything" GIGIL.

Berlyn is a creative photographer and Social Media Guru who specializes in small business growth. She encourages brands to grow organically, be themselves, and build a community. Berlyn believes in shopping small, being kind, and creating a more sustainable environment. Through her work, she wants to build businesses that have similar values and can make the world a better place.

Carina Marquez has been working in video and film production for seven years. She also has fourteen years of experience as a camp counselor, caregiver, and teacher. She's so excited to bring all her skills and experiences together to make STEM fun and inspire kids to grow, learn and play!
Meet, Kayley
STEM Teacher

Kayley Davis is a Long Beach native and recently received her multiple subject teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. STEM is one of her favorite subjects to teach because it is applicable to all aspects of life and allows children to explore their natural curiosities of how the world works. Ms. Kayley supports the idea of letting children take control of their learning and using their curiosity to drive activities. She strives to help children grow in confidence and develop a passion for learning.

Business Support

Celina is an experienced administrator and provides support in all capacities. Her broad spectrum of experience lends her the knowledge to take on any task that comes her way. Celina has a true passion for interior design and is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree at California State University, Long Beach. Celina is an avid supporter of small businesses and therefore enjoys working within the small business sector.
